    Soldier's postings question

When a soldier posts on this site, is it normal to have a delay of a few days before the post is listed?

I am asking because one of my soldiers just returned from leave and had made a post that has not shown up yet.  We are in email contact and he said that he made a post last Friday evening.

I had originally wondered the same thing--I had thought because at the top of the contact list is says "date is within 3 days" that there might be a day or two processing/posting delay.  Marty was nice enough to catch it and clarify.  He said that the emails from the contacts are all posted the day they are received.  There may have been some sort of glitch since they have been changing over to a new server the past few days.  You might want to email your contact and have them resend their update.  Better to have one too many than one too few!

Same thing here! One of my guys said he sent an email last week and he is not updated yet! So no one is able to get his address right now. Crying

    Re: Soldier's postings question

I am glad that you mentioned the server thing!  That could be the reason that my contact's latest post has not showed up.   I will suggest to him that he just go ahead and do another one.   Time is a bit critical for his posts since he is in the 50 day warning zone right now.   Yikes!    I know that he thinks a lot of this program, for all the help that it has been for his unit.

ALL updates are done the very same day they arrive to the Support Team.

    ALL updates.

If your contact says they sent one and it isn't posted, then the Support Team didn't get it.  Have them resend immediatly.
