    Suggestions for potential sales items

I'd sure like to see a challenge coin for Anysoldier.

    Thanks, Mom

That would be cool. Have the heart, and thenon the reverse "Freedom isn't free, just ask Any Marine". Sorry, I personally like Marines.

Sarah suggested this in another thread (New Merchandise Ideas) and included a link to a manufacturer of the coins. Check it out...

I think a lot of people would be interested in a coin.

How about a nice sturdy tote bag?  With the same color scheme of the pens.

A tote bag to carry books, or use it to go shopping, every grocery store is now selling reusable tote bags to get away from the plastic bags.  Tote bags are great for miscellaneous things we need to carry to work, like lunch.

Tote bag is a good idea.  I wish suppliers could be found for items made totally in USA though.

I would buy a totebag.  The one I carry to school is wearing out and it would be cool to replace it with one that advertises AnySoldier.

How About An AnySoldier.com Flag to fly over the bases?

I hope Mr. Horn is reading this.  Today I went on my first PGR mission to send off the 395th Army Reserve Unit from Appleton, WI.  They are an Ordinance Co and are traveling to Indiana first to join up with another unit and then to Afghanistan.  As a PGR member I was honored to hold a flag in the flagline (even tho it was 18 degrees and the wind was blowing like mad) while the soldiers and families entered, left and then along the road as the buses went by.  BUT - my point is this.  The Ride Captain spoke to the troops and told them how much we support them and THEN gave them a regular size (3x5?) PGR Flag to fly over their base.  WHAT ABOUT AN ANYSOLDIER FLAG to present at such times so the guys and gals will know to contact us.  I handed out about a 10 cards - the director of the family support group had never heard of AnySoldier.com.  I also gave cards to some of the soldiers and told them to e-mail in so that we could help support them.  Some of those soldiers were ALL ALONE.  There was NO ONE there to see them off.  So I doubt they'll be getting much in the way of letters or support from their families - if they have any.  I just thought this might be a good way to let the troops know we are here and ready and more than willing to help in whatever way we can.

I like the idea of a sweatshirt or t-shirts.  Those would be cool.  :)  Heck, I'd carry a tote bag too!

What about AS thumb drive? Surely in bulk, they would be inexpensive enough to buy and then resell at a profit of more than $0.16 and still be less than at an electronics store or discount store! It would probably be a win-win for everybody. I'd buy them to send to the guys!

Oh I bought that anysoldier patch to put on a tshirt and wear it like that. Are we not supposed to do that? I don't want to get anyone (including myself) in trouble! Someone please let me know!

I wear my anymarine and anysoldier patches on my PGR jacket.  That's how we knew the 128th Chem was supported.  They saw the patches and said "we got care packages for you (us)".  I've sent them in care packages also.  One soldier sent his home to his wife.  Jazzee Girl
