Nancy here.  Just wanted to introduce myself.  I've been supporting anysoldier.com since before it was .com.  Not sure how long that's been but I believe at least 3 or more years now.  Have become friends with many new guys and gals over the last couple of years.  And, now I have a son serving in Iraq.  I thank Marty for this web site and all the good that has come from it.

I too have been a supporter of Anysoldier for 3 years and it is such a great site isn't it? I am also grateful to Marty and the other "junkies" here for this forum. It makes it real nice to be able to share and hear stories of people just like myself who support the soldiers like I do. that is wonderful about your son, I will pray for his safe keeping and return. No, haven't been able to convince Josh to sign up on here.  He is being well taken care of by me so doesn't feel the need.  He would rather other guys and gals out there who really need outside help to get it.

Yes, I love the web site.  Have written hundreds of letters and sent several boxes.  Just glad I can be doing something constructive to help.  Now I'm in the middle of making a baby afghan for the expectant fathers.  That's another project that I'm happy to be a part of.  And it's all because of this web site.  Go Marty!

Please explain to Josh that, as Marty has emphasized on other threads, soldiers are not supposed to sign up as contacts with AnySoldier to get help for themselves. On the contrary, such contacts will be dropped.

Soldiers are supposed to sign up as AnySoldier contacts to help the other guys and gals out there who really need outside help to get the outside help they need.  They are selfless individuals who aren't satisfied just to be well taken care of themselves.  That is what makes them so special to us all.
