    ....when receiving a gift you immediately start thinking about "re-gifiting" to a soldier who would enjoy it more than yourself..

    ...you write your return address as APO AE 093 - something - something without even noticing.

    You wonder why they're talking about LtCol Mitch Bell on TV and then look and realize it's a Taco Bell commercial....

    Bonster - I laughed right out loud!  You must be an AnySoldier Junkie (for a while) to do the instant relate to (once) Major tip-top TACO Bell (and to bud with Capt Bourland's Major Pain).  I really enjoyed your posting.

     ~~~~you see a big stack of Flat Rate Boxes at the Post Office and you grab some more...just in case.
     ~~~You go into the store with a bit of cash and a list for a few items and walk out with several bags and a charge card slip

    ~~~ your husband asks if you could please buy him a bar of soap (which you have overlooked because you were too absorbed in buying a bar of soap for your troop<S>)
    Cheers,
    I have done all of the above although in my case my husband goes looking for snacks in my AS "stores".  I keep telling him - feel free..... I'll just have to replace it and you know I just LOVE to shop for my soldiers!
    if...you have FINALLY brought your husband to the AS side! We both are getting this Friday off work (we only get one day off together usually) so we were trying to figure out what we could or needed to do, and my husband says "we could go to Sams."  I said sure we could do that. he says "Well, it is time to get more stuff for the soldiers!" Victory is mine!!!!! I have converted him from a mere observer to an active participant! *happy dance!*
     You turn on the computer, and there is an email from one of  "your troops".  The world stops. You Smile, do a little Happy Dance,  grab a cup of coffee and some kleenex, tell the dog to cross his legs he can wait to go out and  pee, toss a can of cat food at the cat..he can figure out how to open it until you get back,  forget about the world  and your  9 am appt. and sit and read and reread every  word with a huge smile on your face and tears in your eyes.
     What a wonderful start to the day.
     Now excuse me while I go get the papertowels....seemed some "folks" here couldn't wait...
    Cheers,
    Amy
    1. You get a second or third job to earn money to buy more stuff for the soldiers.
    2. You try to convince your kid that they really need a new MP3 player for Christmas so you can send their 3 month old MP3 player to the troops.
    3. Your husband asks what you want for Christmas and the ony thing you can think of to say is "Pretty Stationary!"
