Well, this is a hoot!!!    I went to the PO box to check the mail and my 18 year old was with me.   When I got back to the car, I handed her the mail, so I could drive.   She went through everything and then saw the SPIN magazine and she looked at me.  She asked why I would have ordered that.......I told her I didn't and that it was a free subscription....then she finished the sentence......."FOR YOUR SOLDIERS"!!!!   When I got home I quickly looked at it.......it certainly is "one interesting magazine".   Nothing bad......JUST INTERESTING!!!!    I guess my taste in music and my age are finally starting to show.   I know of a particular young group of men that will enjoy it.    It took about 6 wks to get to me.   So, thanks for the info on the free mags.

I know I know, I have been getting SPIN for close to a year now, and I also just started getting STAR  as well as popular mechanics and science, ALL for free. My poor mail man. I like to send those all of those along with the more typical/normal US News and World Report (not a freebie)..dog world, pc magazine...rolling stone... I figure one of those has GOT to interest someone over there !

 I have been starting to get my freebies in too! I got SPIN and yes my age is showing too - what ever happened to Van Halen and White Snake? HA HA HA! Anyway the magazine already went to the soldiers!  I am reading my Horses Illustrated now before sending it. I am looking forward to the ton of boating/yachting magazines I qualified for - Go figure - I live in semi-arid high desert were the "lakes" are just little ponds and are frozen 1/2 of the year anyway!

Anyway, thanks so much for the tip on getting free magazines - now I look for them all over the internet and have signed up for about 20 or so.
