My groups usually get them in a week to 10 days.  I'm planning on mailing my Halloween packages sometime this week.

I'm sending my last ones out Monday. Like Free said around 10 days to get there.
I may not have everything I want but I have everything I need. Family and Friends. Be thankful for what you have because tomorrow you may not have it.

Thought I'd revive this thread since its about that time to decide what to send and was wondering if anyone had come up with any new, fun ideas to send over!

    Re: Halloween

I've got mine ready - One of my contacts has agreed to put together the goody bads, since it's not allowed to send opened sweet. I got all kinds of candy corn (requested) toys, decorations - hmm and judging by the weight, the kitchen sink. LOL

A quick question tho - does anyone know when the weather starts cooling off in Iraq? I'm worried about the chocolate candies.

I received my shipment of "Bubba Teeth", silly glasses and wigs last week! Going today to get candy so I can get a few packages out to my contacts in Afghanistan that only get mail once a month.

    Michelle,

Some areas are okay for sending chocolate now, and others want chocolate and don't care if it is melted!

Temps in Iraq: I just heard that it has "really cooled off now!" It's ONLY 100 degrees instead of 130. (Get out those sweaters!?!?!)

If its cooled off, I haven't noticed yet :) Still really hot. But you shouldn't be worried about sending 'thick' chocolates like candy bars and stuff. I'm not too sure 'thin' chocolates like peanut butter cups and 'turtles' would make it in once piece yet. M&Ms are always a safe bet. Good news is... I've already got my halloween costume picked out. Re: Halloween

Big Smile Great - thanks Jeff. Hmm - was it hard to find the makings of your costume?   LMAO

well ok then - I can happily pack up my goodies & send them off to my "adopted kids"!

One of the "girls" in my group just turned 19 - so it is very fair of me to say kids...since I'm probably as old as or older than their parents.Tongue Tied

    Inky,

Where did you find all your cute stuff (teeth, wigs, etc.)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Amy:

    Check out:  www.zymetrical.com

I buy silly gag stuff from them all the time and I've done some price comparisons and they have better prices and good customer service. They offer discounts on items based on volume ordered and they also give you a coupon code once you get your first shipment for a discount on future orders.

    Good luck and happy shopping!
