I, too, have been absent for a while! I finally check in, and here is our Mr. Postcard Kevin.... getting married!!  Congrats buddy! (And NO, you aren't getting a Mustang from me for a wedding gift, sorry.) LOL! Tara is one lucky girl to snag you, be sure to tell her I said that! Love reading about all the wedding plans. My only thought to tell you is to hide the top of your cake from your parents! Mine ate ours with a bunch of friends after we left that night for our honeymoon! Darn open bars anyhow...

I've been busy and haven't been here a great deal.  I see you've been even busier.  LOL  Congratulations!  Tara huh?  That's my daughter's name so I'm sure you'll be very happy.  I think you're both very lucky.  You make a good looking couple and as long as you treat each other with love, you'll be fine!

I doubt I'll make it for the reception, darn gas prices are just too high!    Target huh?  I'll have to check it out.

Good luck with your education too.  That's a lot to take on at one time, but somehow I'm pretty sure you'll up to the task!  LOL  Take care.

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know I'll be in D.C. for about ten days.  If anyone is in that area, it would be cool to meet for dinner!    We've got another trial going on, this time at Fort Belvoir.  I'll check back in here before I leave!

Hey again!

Two things...

First, we finally got back from D.C. and I wanted to let everyone know it was another successful prosecution!  It was one of the most frustrating trials I've ever been a part of, so I'm glad it's finally over!

Second, a HUGE "thank you" to everyone that has sent us wedding gifts!  Tara started on the thank-you notes while I was in D.C., but I wanted to make sure you all know how much it means to me that you continue to support me (and now my family!).  I can't think of anything I've done in my life that has me deserving of this, but I want you all to know that nothing you have done is taken for granted.

The Army birthday is this weekend... everyone eat cake!

Wishing the Soon-To-Be Mr. and Mrs. Creel a wonderful, perfect wedding this weekend!!!!  Many wonderful years of love and happiness and good health to you!!!

I'm a married man!

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes.  The wedding was beautiful, and as soon as I can get my hands on some of the pictures, I'll try to put them on here.

After the wedding, Tara and I spent a week cruising the Caribbean.  What a great trip!  I'm back at work now, but getting ready to move in a few weeks to Fort Sam Houston near San Antonio.  We're pretty excited about the new assignment, and the move going to be quite an adventure.  (Are any of you near there?)

Hey everyone!

Just checking in to let you all know we've moved to Fort Sam Houston (San Antonio), TX.  We got down here a couple of weeks ago and are settling in nicely.  The good thing for me is that it doesn't look like I'll be deploying for a couple of years.  I hate to send someone else in my place, and I'll jump back into the mix as soon as possible, but this is going to be a nice break for me.
