They also had some gloves, scarves, hats and mittens in their ad, but they were out of the throws at the store we went to Sun. eve. and hadn't unpacked the other items.  I missed the warmers in my haste.  Thanks for mentioning them.

    Gran,

The last time the throws were on sale, they were out at my location, but I did get a rain check for 10.  They have these throws in most of the time, so it isn't hard to get them.

    Re: Throws and Hand Warmers

The last time the throws were on sale here, we got about 6 I think, but the 2nd store was out, and we got a raincheck, but they never got them in again at that store, and by the time we got to the first store this time, they were out again.  They don't seem to keep them well around here.  We did bag just a few hand and foot warmers and 12 knit black watch hats.  We did get another raincheck for the gloves and hats at the other store, so we shall see, and check with the other one for the hand warmers.

    VickiV,

I just joined this site and I would like to buy the hand and foot warmers that you spoke about. I went to one of the Walgreens on my way home from work, and nobody knew what I was talking about. Needless to say, neither did I. What exactly is a hand warmer and a foot warmer? It may be because I'm in New Orleans that the Walgreens doesn't carry them. Very rarely do we get weather that warrants hand and foot warmers. If that's the case, I may see if Walgreens has a website that I could go on to purchase them. Thanks for any info you can give me.

    VickiV,

I have since found them at Wal-Mart. There are 6 to a pack for $1.97.

    Hey Glenn and everyone!

I have found personally that Wal-Mart is about the best place to buy the hand warmers.  I have yet to find the foot warmers there but will continue to look around!  =)

The Sock Company also has the hand warmers and toe warmers... if I remember correctly, they are $1.25 each. Or you can check out www.heatreliefdepot.com for them. They sell them in bulk; for example.... 40 paks for handwarmers for $36. Comes out to just under a dollar a 2-pak. They also have full foot warmers as well as body warmers. Hope this helps!

Industrial Safety Gear sells all the various types of Hot Hands.  The "normal" size are 40 pair for $29.95.  I have ordered from them and they are fast.

However, Costco had a box of the 40 pair normal size for a better price.

I know all Sams are not identical but where did you find the hand warmers? I am NJ and have not seen them at my Sams ever. I am excited about your find and the price!

The Sam's club in Deptford NJ had them last year; I haven't checked this year yet. I bought a box or two at the end of last year, put them in my storage unit and have those packed to go.

    Re: Throws and Hand Warmers

Two local Sams stores had em here in St Louis. They were by the camping/ seasonal stuff in the middle isles at both stores. Don't know if that helps : ) But i do know you can go  online to sams club.com and put in your store location and search up the item to see if it's there before you make the trip.  Shelly
