    Halloween cuties at my door

Just had to share this. I has 3 little GI Joes at my door. 2 Army, and  1 Air Force they were 3, 7 and 12. They had stopped by my store to see  me so they sent them to my house their father is in the Army in Afghanistan. They had their dog tags on that their father had sent them. They were to cool.

I may not have everything I want but I have everything I need. Family and Friends. Be thankful for what you have because tomorrow you may not have it.

thats cute. im actually in my dad's Air Force dress blues right now. I walked around and stopped at people's that i know houses. They were so excited to see me in my dad's uniform. I'm proud to wear it. While I was still home, a boy dressed as a soldier came and i wanted to say "drop and give me 20" hahahaha. that would of been funny. but i'm nice. Happy Halloween ya'll!

Kaitlin, you really crack me up!  It's neat that you both got to wear your dad's uniforms.

I'd like to share this with you. I have a nephew that is in the army- airborne training right now and then stationed in Germany. His little brother recently broke his foot. for Halloween the little brother went as a wounded soldier. Mind you - he's 7 and about as big as a peanut. Also My oldest son age 13 is in the Civil Air Patrol. Just last week he got a new set of camo's- they come from the AF soldiers who are now out. Anyway it still had all the patches etc on it -a SSGT's. so for last night he went as an AF SSGT.  I'm not sure if my son is more proud of himself to be in the Civil Air Patrol or that he was able to wear a SSGT uniform.

Yes I know what you mean. I don't want ANY our our soldiers to be hurt in any way, but because he already had a broken foot and he wanted to honor his brother it kind of made sense. I would think he would have gone as a soldier anyway wounded or not.
