I am a federal worker and donating to CFC (Combined Federal Campaign) is a quick and easy way to give monthly. I hope AS will fill out all of those application forms and get it lined up for next year.  As a anysoldier.com junkie, I'm going to step up to the donation basket  and make a donation today.

I may have said it before on this thread - but with Christmas coming it's a perfect time to donate.  Instead of handing out gifts this year, I will be handing out Cards telling the recipient that I have donated funds to AnySoldier.com in their name.  They may not support the war (yes, I know that has nothing to do with what we do), but they are going to support AnySoldier whether they like it or not.  We all have everything we could possibly need - there are all those troops that need so much.  If the AnySoldier site goes down the soldiers will get nothing.  So that is the only gift anyone is getting from me this year.

For those working outside the home, often companies and corporations have matching fund campaigns that when an employee donates to a non-profit they will match the funds.  The non-profit must meet certain criteria, but it might be worth checking if your company has the program and if AS would qualify.

We just went through a management style change.  In the process, departmental managers got moved around.  Nothing happened when I tried to get this through HR and marketing two years ago.  So, I am trying again.  This time with the encouragement of my senior manager! 

They didn't tell me anything last time.  I'll let you know if I get any results this time!

I'm going to do $5 right now for November. 

My birthday is in December, so I'm going to donate $1 for each year I've been lucky enough to be alive and well. (btw, that's $36...)

My birthday is in December too!  So, I will donate $1 for each year I've been alive as well.  :)  Maybe we could start a trend.  (And that's $29 for me...) 

My birthday is next Thursday so I will be donating probably today or tomorrow.  I said I would so here goes!

I'm sure this must have been on here before.  Probably how I got the idea.  I just notified my bank to automatically send AnySoldier.com a check every month.  I don't have to remember and the check always gets sent.  Works just great.
