    Introducing Myself

Hi, my name is Eva and I live in Greensboro, NC.  I recently discovered anysoldier.com and think that the site is wonderful.  I found units in each branch in both Iraq and Afghanistan that don't recieve much mail and have set out to change that.  I have spent weeks making over a hundred christmas cards and writing letters for each and every one of them.  My writers cramp seems miniscule compared to what our troops go thru and it is the least I can do.  I pray that my letters will find the soldiers who need some encouragement or just a friend., and I plan on answering anyone who reaches out.  If a letter makes even just one soldier feel like they are not alone than my letter was a success.

I met a navy medical corpsman right before he was deployed to Iraq and don't know how to find him.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  This is his thrid tour and he never gets anything from home, I would love to send him a care package, if only I knew where to send it.  It would be great if anyone could help me but until then I will continue writing letters, making cards and care packages because I know how important it is to our troups, just as we know how important our troops are to us.

May God Bless them all and bring them home safely to us.

    Eva

    Re: Introducing Myself

    Eva Hello!

I don't know how to find him but maybe a few of us can each add a little something that will help you in your search.

Only mention information over Private Message unless it is general in nature.

I can tell you who I have talked to if you are cautious about being new to the forum.

There are some fantastic people here and they have hearts of gold.

Please do not answer these here - they are just for you to start an investigative outline in a notebook and will depend on how serious you want to persue your search. Some will not pertain and are asked in general just to give you ideas.

Do you have his full name and rank?

    Where did you met him?

If it is a place where there is a phone like a restaurant, go back there and leave your name and number for him in case he calls there (seriously offer them an incentive like a free steak dinner) from wherever he is at.( I will explain this in a minute)

Was he close to his duty station or in the area for something else?

Date he shipped out or real close?

    Location he shipped out?

Did he mention where he was going?

Was this a place he had been to before?

Type of car he was driving? Color, year, state plates, unique markings window stickers.

Any Mention of the state he was from?

    His description, age and tatoos?

Does he have any of your information on how to contact you?(whatever is a common ground leave a name and number for him)

You will find him no matter what religion you are if you pray every day with all your heart that you will find him and believe while you pray.

Until then when you close your eyes picture him in a white glow of protection so he will be safe until you contact.

Mentally send him a message to contact you everyday (with a mental picture where you met and or went make sure your phone number is there and you tell them why you are leaving it for him). This absolutely works. If it is close by go there and get and photo and put it on your desk. Ask anyone there if they remember him and you.

Wedding band? Sorry but a good investigation has to include details (I know of a gal that supported a soldier who couldn't tell his wife what was happening in combat).

Mention of his school or growing up in a certain area. On the beach, back on the basketball team in?

Some of these will not find him directly but will help you identify him to someone that doesn't know him by his name but just a nickname like "Doc" etc.

Military nicknames blur the memory of the real names of a lot of soldiers and they only remember the nicknames.

The military uses many of these mental exercises with success and many books have been written about the great results of remote viewing and other mental success stories.

If our government found out they work why shouldn't you try them?

Good luck and you know what?

Anyone who writes 100 letters is dedicated.

Sounds like you just found home.

    Welcome, door

    Re: Introducing Myself

Thank you for that wonderful welcome.  I run into many who don't have much compassion and who could care less about my letters or my search. I will just have to care enough for them as well.  I'm afraid I am new to this and don't know what private message is, but I do believe that networking could be my answer. I just have to learn how, and the end result will be worth every second.   I have answers to many of the questions but know that it is not appropriate to do so here.  I will try your suggestions and have already begun the outline.  I am very serious about locating him and, I know that I will find him it is just a matter of when.  I pour my heart out in the letters that I am writing but my heart is very sad because he may not find one.  So getting hopeful letters into the hands of the discouraged and lonely isn't my only goal, I need to get one into his hands as well.  I thank anyone who can help me.

    Eva

    I will
