Re: First mission with the PGR
Lisajan:
Hey Kat, Susan and Ashley..
I think anysoldier was well represented today with our PGR family. I am afraid I did not get to meet the airman but I did get to plug the PGR and Any Soldier with our documentary friends. Looking forward to that coming out, should be very cool!!
It was a fabulous day and glad we were all together!!
Till next time,
Lisa
Funny - I was in the basement this morning while she was posting. I agree though, Any Soldier was represented very well yesterday by all of us. We had quite a few people ask us about what we did, which made it all worth while. Hopefully, the camera men will use the footage of Lisa talking Any Soldier up!!
I was so glad to met Kat and Ashleigh. I'm hoping and praying that PGR in Ohio is as fantastic as the PGR in Atlanta.
Can't wait to hear everyone else's PGR stories! :)
Love to all!

Re: First mission with the PGR
Saturday was amazing. And even cooler with four of us anysoldier junkies there. I loved seeing all of you and meeting Susan. You really got to move here girl.
Our GA ride captain Gene made the comment to me and Susan that us anysoldier folks really hit the ground running with the PGR...and my new bike buddy Benny was listening very intently to us talk about any soldier. He loved it and who knows maybe he will join too.

Re: First mission with the PGR
1st mission this morning. It was a Memorial Mission for Vets including the flag folding with the explanation of each fold. I was taught that many, many years ago by Pop and had forgotten it. Brought back a flood of memories. Difficult to talk about, still overwhelmed. This was a good 1st mission for me to start with. The PGR members are great. I was so nervous but boy did they set me at ease. Proudly wore my anysolder.com pin and received my 1st mission pin. Joyce

Re: First mission with the PGR
We have another mission here in Georgia tomorrow (2/16) -- not a happy mission like last week, it is for SSG Tabb of Norcross GA, who was KIA within the last couple weeks. It will be rough... thoughts & prayers appreciated...this poor family.... :(

Hi Kat_orr,
My prayers are with you, all the other PGR members and especially his family & the brothers & sisters he served with.
Thank God for you and the other PGR members to show support for him. I'm sure it will help his family a great deal to see such love, appreciation, respect, & support. Thank you!
Hugs,
Sharon

Re: First mission with the PGR
Hey all,
Another very successful mission for SSGT Donald Tabb and his family. Very sad but the PGR once again was there to stand for our fallen hero.
An honor to be there and with you and Ashley (missing you Ohio Breeze) and the rest of our PGR family.

Re: First mission with the PGR
Yesterday was really tough but I'm glad we were all there for this fallen hero and his family. What a turn out! We had over 80 PGR there and they shut down four major interstates as we rode through......amazing. The lawrenceville and canton police are great. There were rumblings protestors would be there but they don't come to Georgia. They don't like us and know we are a big group, good.

I missed you all as well yesterday and was standing there with you, in spirit. I thought of you all and said a silent prayer for the fallen hero and his family, as well as my PGR Georgia family. (((((HUGS!)))))) to all of you for honoring our fallen.

Re: First mission with the PGR
My/our most difficult mission EVER was Thursday night & Friday morning... one of our very own PGR guys passed away from a brain tumor. He was a Marine veteran and a cornerstone of the GA PGR. It was really, really hard... :(

We had a KIA mission Friday. Know that I was standing the line for him also. God bless, Joyce
