18" Tinsel Cmas trees on Clearance...

My Target had 18" cmas trees on clearance for 50 cents today... They are flexible enough that come next year I should be able to fit them into an FRB.  Naturally I bought all they had, and may hit up another Target tomorrow.  My husband just sighed and wanted to know where I was going to store them for a year - why boxed in the rafters of the garage of course!  Now I just hope I remember them next fall Stick out tongue

The XMas stuff at Target was a great deal at 75% off...I have no room for XMas stuff for next year  BUT I managed to score big with Hershey kisses,,, so I will remove the green ones and send the red/silver for Valetine's Day and the green ones for St Pat's day. I saw those trees as well and thought that they would be perfect to send!

I wondered if it would be okay to open bags of hershey's kisses.  I didn't know if things had to be factory sealed and if the kisses were wrapped enough in the foil.

The Soldiers are told to throw out things that are not commercially packaged and sealed.

That's why I wondered if it was okay to open the kisses and sort through the colors for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.  I had thought of it, but dismissed the idea since they would no longer be factory sealed.

As long as the candy is wrapped from the factory, I think you are okay. I often open bags for better packing, etc.  I haven't had any complaints.  They always saw they devour it immediately.Stick out tongue

I always leave food completely in it's original packaging, even if it means taking up unnecessary space in the box.

If you will think about it for just a minute - kisses are not sealed, and can come unwrapped very easily.  They simply are not the same as a bag of miniature candy bars (which are individually sealed).  Any candies which are just "twisted" shut are in danger of contamination as soon as they are opened.
