Were you one of the ones talking about a book to help support AS? I found that thread of old that hasn't been written in in a month or more. What happened if you were a part of it. Did you all move to a different thread or did the idea die out?

SFC Glennis B. Jarvis  said in her post March 5th "Unfortunately the packages have stopped coming...."

 She also has said in her last two posts that they have very limited storage space and are in desperate need of store containers for socks, T-shirts, etc.

SSG James Garrett says they have pretty much only been receiving one box a week from one family and pretty much no other support.  He also said more than half of the thank you notes they tried to email got returned as undeliverable.  I wonder what's up with that.

I just wanted to mention that I like when AS supporters put the number of times requested when writing about someone who needs support.  I can go back over them when I have time and see if the response has picked up considerably or if they have only received one or two more requests.

I strongly second that! I spent about 2 hours last night going through every contact name in this list, to try and see who still needs more support. For the ones that don't have the times requested noted, there's really no way to gauge if they've gotten any additional support...

The good news is, several of the contacts listed here seem to have gotten more support, which is great! The bad news is, there are many who have had very few (or no) additional requests for their address...

I have added SSG James Garrett to the schools list of contacts. He has been requested 24 times now as of  03/08/08

He should be recieving a couple of boxes within the next couple weeks. I will include 3 or 4 email address for him to contact...
