    I agree with Gran.  I think freshly laundered, gently used linen is a wonderful gift.  When you stay in a hotel or motel, they don't give you brand new linen.  We don't mind when we have to use it, so I don't think they would take offense or not like it.  I think if they have nothing they aren't particular and if it bothers them, they can pass it on to someone who will appreciate it.  I have seen posts where some have asked for linen that you no longer need.  Our troops are grateful for getting support and as long as you would use it, I am sure they will use it.
