    FOB Falcon, Iraq

As you know, I am still freeking out about one of my medic friends. He is in FOB (Forward Operating Base to those who don't know) Falcon, Iraq. FOB Falcon is nice, but it is crammed. He said that "[things that are there]... all the Gatorade a soldier can drink!" I know it is a very nice base, but, they arr EOD (Explosive Ordanace Disposal) ], which means they are veryyy brave. My medic friend is a medic, so EOD+Medic= ...Well, very brave. I am requesting you send packages to Medic James M. Ochoa. Tell him to distribute the stuff. Also tell him his Mini-Medic told you!

Nick, have 3 contacts at FOB Falcon, but will also pick up Medic Ochoa.  Will check out his email to see what they need, unless you have first hand knowledge from him.  Thanks, keep up the good work, Joyce

    Hi Nick,

*chuckles* You can ask questions if you want! Email me and I'll pass them on to him. He is in the computer/IT field now though. He remembers his days as the "doc" very warmly. He loved being the medic. I know I don;t have to "adopt" James, but I have a soft spot for medics :0).

    Take care,

    Jo

This Army mom sure has a soft spot in her heart for those medics, too.

I'm so thankful for all they do. It's nothing short of amazing!!! They do so much to take care of our troops!

    Hi Nick,

To PM someone or email them first you have to sign in to the forum.  Then click on her name (above her avatar).  That will bring up a bio page on her.  At the bottom it will say Contact Information and you will see the words private message and down below that email.  Click on whichever one you want to do and it will bring up a window for you to type a message.  Then click Post at the bottom and it will send your message to her.  The message will then go to your "in box' which will be the last box you see up where YOUR name is when you sign in.  The inbox does not show up nor does the private message and email section on the bio page unless you are signed in.  Hope this helps.

    Nick,

Go to the "Contact" box above and click on the drop down arrow.  You can then select email (if the AS person has provided their email) or Private Message.  I'll send you a private message so you can see how they come.

I can't thank you enough for all you are doing for us.

    Blessings,

    Teena

    Acoustic,

The way that I send a PM is the button above each person's message that says "Contact".  Click on that button and it will give you options.  You can click on email or PM and send a message to the individual.
