I requested SPC Matthew Borgen today.  Thank you Rosemary for calling attention to his name.  He is a medic and they are unable to get many supplies unless a medic goes to a FOB which are few and far between.  They need all the basics:  hygiene, snacks, food etc.  I put together a pkg today and will mail tomorrow morning.  I know the medics have a tough job as my nephew was a corpsman in the Navy (did 3 tours of Iraq) and the last two tours he trained with the Marines and a lot of the times, they are on the front lines.

I sent him some care packages from Treat Any Soldier.  I am not expecting a reply as I always mention for them to contact their families first if they have time. I will post any replies I receive. I was a medic in the Army a long time ago (C ration era)

He was promoted and has an address change as of his April 1st Posting..

We sent him at least 1  that included Ace bandages, Large bandages, and IB motrin  if I am not mistaken.

Yes, it is the same person.  I just checked and in his post of April 1st he says he was recently promoted to sergeant and also that they had moved to a new location and have a change of address.
