Just read that Michael Moad has to come off the anysoldier website.   He states that they are moving again and that they are seriously out of space and literally on each other.    I was soooooo sad      .....because I didn't find him due to the article in Vanity Fair or any other media.  I had been in contact with him for quite some time because I caught his first name (the same as my brother that has passed) and that was how I picked him as a contact.   Well, we can only wish them the best and they have it a bit difficult than others.   He has some pics....and the one of all of them with cigars made me smile inside.   Boys will be boys!!!

You can still write to him, I'm sure he'd love to keep hearing from you.  And a little later they may be moved back up to their camp and have room for things again.   I think when they are 'dropped' from AS because of no contact you aren't supposed to keep sending mail because they don't know what happened, but in this case we do know it's just a lack of space.

I was sending to him while he was with the 2nd and then after his transfer, I'm going to keep writing to him and the others as well.  And unless they say otherwise, I'll keep sending to my other contact.  I think there were just multiple contacts and Michael especially never wanted ALOT of stuff sent, just some basics that he listed.

I'll miss his posts and pictures though,   Anita
