    Hey Junkies, need your help

Hey everyone. One of my Patriot Guard Rider buddies called me last night. He had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with a disabled Veteran. I am planning on visiting him soon as well but thought in the mean time maybe we could send him cards or letters. If you want to send him a hello email me and I will give you more details. It would mean the world to him. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

    Hello Ashley,

Re: Hey Junkies, need your help

Hey, so far we are at roughly 20 cards! I think I have emailed everyone, my internet is a little iffy at work, dial upSmile

Thank you again to everyone. I am very proud to be a part of this amazing group.

This is what I know about him so far(from Benny)

Yes, he was Army...101st Airborne, Ranger, was at "Hamburger Hill" in Viet
Nam.  Got exposed to agent orange.  This is what they think caused his
kidneys to go bad.  Two years ago, went into a coma and when he finally came
out of it he was paralyzed from the waist down. Now he is on dialysis either
two or three days a week.  That is about all I can tell you right now, but I
will probably be getting more information in the near future.  I will keep
you posted on what I find out.

    Ashley,

Please send me the contact info. I have relatives and family friends who are Vietnam vets and I'm eager to join in on any activity to show those brave men and women the support they should have received years ago.

    UPDATE

    Hey everyone,

I got a phone called today-I have good and bad news. The bad news is Norman had a stroke and is in the hospital. His wife called my PGR buddy to tell him but to also ask about all the cards coming. She was so suprised and is taking them to him. That's the good news.....what timing! She was so touched and wanted to say thank you to everyone. She said not long ago he told her that he loved his country but his country did not love him.We are showing that isn't true and I thank all of you for helping me do that. I'm going to see him very soon and I will keep you all posted. Thank you so much!!!!!!
