    Expired coupons

    Expired manufacturers coupons...

PX's and other military stores can accept  coupons a full 6 months after they expire.

I know that expired coupons might not help the soldier in the Field, but maybe a spouse who is located on base or near a base could use them..

With that said ...do we have anyone on the forum who could use an envelope of expirerd coupons?

We have a contact in Germany who has been over run with coupons lately and is asking for us NOT to send anymore coupons her way,.  She was able to  get a group of military spouses together and exchange and trade coupons sent there way but lately  they havn't been using as many as they used too.

My wife is looking for a new contact to send her expired coupons too..  Any military PX's  even those state side should accept expired coupons....  any takers?

    Re: Expired coupons

    Hi SouthWick,

I got some information a while back from one of the organizations on the anysoldier.com toolbar drop-down menu and in one of the emails it listed a place to send expired coupons to be distributed to soldier's families.  I won't have time to look for the email until I get home late this evening but will post the information when I find it.  I also have a stack of expired coupons I am gathering up so I can send them.

    Phillis,

Thanks so much for the link - what a marvelous story that we junkies can certainly relate to. It opens up information about another way we can all help even after our wallets tell us to slow down.

My name is Cindy and I am an Anysoldier.com junkie.

I have a huge stack of expired coupons and now I cannot find the address that I had seen in an e-mail from Operation Dreamseed.   I should have written it down at the time Crying

If anyone has an address where to send expired coupons so the families can use them, please post it here or send me a PM.

    Thanks,

    Rosemary

Yes! I will do my own research, but if any one finds an address where we can send expired coupons, please post it! I always hate it when I have not been able to use a good coupon and realize it is expired! AND it's another small way to help soldiers and their families! Yea!!!!

    Re: Expired coupons

There is an organization called Overseas Coupon Program.  You can adopt a base from the list provided and send the coupons directly to that base.  The website is:  www.ocpnet.org

I've been sending coupons to an Army base in Vilseck, Germany.  It doesn't seem like they've been keeping the website and totals up-to-date, but I've been sending them directly to the base anyway.  The website gives all the info on how to send the coupons.
