I have always added floss and toothbrush in my packages

right now (march 2008) Big Lots in my area has a set of a toothbrush (generic), toothpaste, travel cover, and plastic carring case all for $1. 

 

Our Dollar Tree had those packs for a long time and we sent them to the hospital units.  We got two different kinds, one seemed better quality than the other.  One seemed to be a better value.

As for floss, you may want get these little things that are made of plastic and have a pick with floss attached. it's MUCH easier for the guys to use in the field.. I think I got some packs of  Dr. Du-More's TAST E FLOSSER 45 disposable mint flavored ones at the dollar store or walmart. Also requested were flavored " floss sticks" by my Seabee contacts.

Those are great, been using them for years. They are pointedly sharp, as desired. I found the Altoids mint boxes just the right size hold a bunch. No holes in clothes or skin. I have them every place & they punch holes through plastic bags .  These boxes are the right size to hold Q-tips also.
