Does anyone out there have contact with CH Brandon S. Harding?  I'm trying to go through last year's kid clothes, and I'm wondering if he is just looking for shoes and coats, or if other cool-weather kid clothes would be useful as well (sweat shirts, long sleeve t-shirts for layering, jeans, fleece pj's).  We don't have a ton of really cold weather gear as we live in So Calif, but if any of that would be useful, I'm happy to send it.  On the other hand, if shoes and coats are really all he wants, I don't want to be a burden...

Thanks and let me know if you have any insights...

CAPT. Hank E. Moon is looking for school supplies, toys, and food for the Iraqi children for his unit's humanitarian mission the week between Christmas and New Year.  They are not asking for things for themselves, just the children.

SFC Thomas V. Quinn sounds like they could definitely use some support for themselves and for their humanitarian efforts.

I've been sending him both care packages for his team, but also boxes of "goodie bags" to give to local children.  I was delighted to see he posted Feb. 22 with pictures of him handing out my goodie bags, with the little girls wearing my simple, hand-made necklaces.  Goodie bags have been a hit for several units I've sent them to, the kids love them.

    Cheers!

    Ginny,

Wow how cool is that!  It gives you such a natural high doesn't it when they post pictures of your things.  I'm so glad they were pleased.

CW2 Jenny L. McCarthy and some of her other soldiers volunteer to do hospital runs. She needs things to hand out. She does send you pictures of her handing things out to the children and mothers.
One picture she had was of an Egyptian hospital. I guess they fly over to Egypt, too. I am not really sure where all she goes.
