Thank you!  Guilty as charged.  However, since I found this website in Sept and became a junkie my scrapbooking has been laid aside.  I have made some cards for the soldiers.  I sent a lot before Christmas and never heard from any of them and then saw contacts asking for cards that weren't homemade.  That's why I didn't sign up right away but when I saw you still needed cards, I couldn't pass it up.  I'm glad to hear you like them. Thanks for taking the time to organize them all.

who on earth would ask for non home made cards?  I don't get it.  Someone takes all the time to make home made cards and they don't want them.  Send them to those that do.  WoW...er...this is this hospital in Qatar that has a lot of ill kids in it that would probably just be tickled to get them.

    Hey everyone!

Just a little update- waiting on cards from a couple more people- they will hopefully be here today or tomorrow.  As soon as they come, I'll be ready to swap them all and mail back to you!Geeked

I can hardly wait also!  I've been fretting for over a week about how I slopped mine together in a rush.

    Hi CaliGirl,

I sent you an e-mail.  My cards will arrive tomorrow around 3pm.  I mailed them overnight.  So sorry for the delay everyone.

    Hi,

Did you find the stamp in my package? If you didn't I stuck it in one of the unsealed envelopes, because I was at the PO when I got it and didn't think to bring anything to put it in.

    Mimi~

No worries!  Thank you for sending them overnight... I've been "the last one" in a card swap before and mailed overnight, so I know how expensive that is!

    Dawn~

I didn't look for everyone's stamps yet, but thank you for telling me- now I'll know where to look for yours. Geeked

    Everyone else~

Tonight I'll probably go ahead and swap the cards that I already have; when Mimi's arrive tomorrow it'll be easy to add hers in.  I'm just missing cards from one other person, then we'll be good to go! Geeked

    Oh yes Cali,

The Postal Clerk, Sherrie, so sweet, was so interested in what I was mailing to you.  I showed her my cards and explained what we are doing.  She was very helpful on filling out the form to send overnight to you and she put the stamp in a Postal Envelope.  I also gave her some AnySoldier Pens as she is going to inform people about this wonderful site.  So far I've been very lucky in the PO's that I go to.

    Thanks for understanding.

To BlueStarx2 - I think homemade cards are so nice, I wish I had more time to do crafty things - but my teenage son has me doing so much right now that homemade cards are low on my priority list.

Anyway, I am thinking a card exchange with holiday cards next fall would be really nice. (I am thinking it would have to be in Oct to get the cards ready to mail to soldiers in late November.) Anyone interested?

Hi Anne Marie (and everyone else),

I haven't forgotten about the cards; in fact they're all swapped and pretty much ready to go.  The delay is because there's still one person who sounded like they were commited to participating whose cards I still haven't received.  I sent a private message a week ago and was waiting for a reply to find out what was going on (no reply so far).  I realize that everyone else is anxious to have their cards back so I've decided to mail them tomorrow.  I'm sorry for the delay, but I hope it'll be worth the wait when you all see the cards!
