    Hi Shane,

    Congratulations on your promotion!

My Father was in the Navy during WWII.  He said he was special forces and spent time in the PI.  He used to get so angry when movies would show the Marines landing on the beaches and would say things like "They wouldn't have made it that far if we hadn't gone in and cleared the way for them".

I'm trying to get his military records, long process I guess.  It's interesting to me to read your posts.  Thanks so much for sharing.  I'm happy you've joined us here and say welcome to the Forum! Wink

    Hi Shane,

Plattsburgh! Holy freezing Batman! I know a couple of people who went to SUNY there. You must be enjoying the warm weather in Kuwait right now!!! It's about 52 degrees here. Geez, plattsburgh, I live closer to DC then Plattsburgh. So you meant UP UP state NY. Confused
