seabee_sniper:
P.S. If i didnt tell you all, i am leaving for Africa tomorrow so i
mite not be on for a bit, i will get on when i can...you all be good
and feel free to post when i am not around....
NO YOU DIDN'T TELL US!!! And that's important stuff!! I
mailed you like 70 popsicles last week (2 boxes). It ended up
being later in the week than I expected (sorry, I was having finals so
it was kind of a crazy week). But anyways, they're on the way...
will they get forwarded to you? Or sit there until you come
back? Or can someone else open the boxes and share
them? I can send more when you come back...
And did you find out your address in Africa already?

Yeah, no problem... I'm thinking it might be easier if they just
open and keep those there and I can send more to Africa when you get
that address. Only because they're packaged up kind of crazy,
being liquid and all. But it's up to you! If someone there is going to open the
boxes, mine are the ones with the colorful, striped address labels (or
you can just tell them the ones addressed from Justine... lol).
There's a card in one box, but it's kind of a generic "thank you" and
they can read it if they want.
Safe travels!

Hey, Shane!!! -- you get back on here just as soon as you can, okay? We will miss you!! And definitely change your contact info on the AS website when you get to where you're going -- that way we can support you and your new team!
Fair winds and safe travels, Seabee!

BU2ss:I'm new to the forum. I joined here because I am about to go into the Reserves as a Seabee. I served 5 years (01-06) in the submarine force, and I decided that I missed the military community and culture. The reserves is a good way for me to stay connected, finish college, and hopefuly get my degree. Once I do, I plan on applying for a commission.
Welcome! Glad to see another (soon-to-be) Seabee here. Good luck as you start your Reservist Career! Jenifer, proud sister of an Op. Desert Storm Seabee

Thanks, Kristen. I'll try to keep you all updated with my progress. I have to wait until my recruiter gets back to me. I had to fill out new medical questionaires because my separation physical (done in June of '06) had expired. So, as soon as I can get to MEPS, hopefully within 2 weeks, I should know when I'm leaving for A-school in Gulfport.
In the meantime, I'm starting a thread on Submariners, just incase anyone is interested or, knows anyone in Submarines.
God Bless you all.
