Hi everyone,

I hope this gets seen here, but I think I'll post it under the Contacts list too just in case.  For anyone who knows Jamie Hofeldt, I received an email today and, in part, this is what he said:

some of the guys in my unit are trying to get support to be able to give young kids in their area coloring books, picture type books and crayons and such that they can give out when they go into villages and such other than that we are starting to count down to late summer when we all hope to be home in Germany so snacks from home and things are still a sure bet for packages. 

I do have a few soldiers who have started to take a great interest in investment and money and I know that the Rich Dad Poor Dad Books are a great way to start educating yourself about money and making it work for you not against you so if you run across any of them or Donald Trump books I think they would like those as well as any current financial magazines they mentioned Money magazine and Kiplingers.  Not sure if you will be able to help with that but anything and everything is welcome.

Thought I'd post this as I won't be able to send enough to cover that many guys!

Hi!  I don't know if you saw this, but rosepeddles posted a thread in "Special Contact Requests" called "Hearts and Minds" as a place to list contacts who are trying to gather items to give the to Iraqis they come in contact with... maybe you want to paste that part of his request into that thread, where people looking to send those type of items will probably be checking in? 

Jamie Hofeldt was moved to old contacts yesterday (4/4/08) (due to 60 days of no contact).

Sharon -- can you e-mail him to give him a heads up so he can get re-instated?
