Jamie Hofeldt lists requests from the guys

    Hi Everyone,

As some of you know Jamie hears many requests from some of our guys.  He sent me an email and this is what's being asked for:

some of the guys in my unit are trying to get support to be able to give young kids in their area coloring books, picture type books and crayons and such that they can give out when they go into villages and such other than that we are starting to count down to late summer when we all hope to be home in Germany so snacks from home and things are still a sure bet for packages.

I do have a few soldiers who have started to take a great interest in investment and money and I know that the Rich Dad Poor Dad Books are a great way to start educating yourself about money and making it work for you not against you so if you run across any of them or Donald Trump books I think they would like those as well as any current financial magazines they mentioned Money magazine and Kiplingers.  Not sure if you will be able to help with that but anything and everything is welcome.

Anyone able to send some of these things to Jamie?  Thanks & hugs to everyone!

Hi, Sharon -- I just took a look at Jamie's page -- It has one of those "not heard from for more than 50 days" notices up -- you might want to e-mail him a reminder to reactivate.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up Marilyn.  I'll do that right now.

    Thanks again!  Wink

I have a bunch of small stuffed animals up at the school.  I'd estimate about 300 of them. We also have a dozen or so hand warmers. I'm sure we could come up with a box or two of crayons also..

I'm about 1 or 2 weeks from sending anything so Hopefully he updates his profile between now and then...

I have heard from Jamie via email and know his address is still good.  He just got the blankets I sent (4 Army Camouflage material) and many guys wanted one, but alas there weren't enough.  I contacted Linda (lady who makes them) and I'll be going to her place right after work to help her make more.  I want to send at least 8 so the SSGT who contacted us gets one too.  He actually offerred to send a donation to help pay for the blankets for his guys. Crying  That just broke my heart.  He asked for 5-6, but it's my goal to send at least 8 so I know he gets one for himself.  Don't tell me Americans are at the mall.  If I'm at the mall, it's to buy stuff for my soldiers!!!!

    Love to all
