    cool ties

for those of you who have questions about the cool ties, go up to the search box (for entire site), and type in "cool ties" .  That should bring up last year's conversation threads.  A lot of good information.

Walmart sells a commerical version called aqua cool for $3.97 in the sporting goods section. Does anyone know if they work as well as the homemade ones?

You might want to try this link.  I've been purchasing them from for several years and they are now on special for 1.79 each.

    Rosemary,

Thank you for the website. Wow what a great selection of items. I've ordered some of the neck coolers today. I don't think I could make them for that price.

I've used the ones from Walmart, never made one myself, but the ones from WM work fine.  They get a little gross after awhile, but for $4 I just toss it and get a new one.
