    Community Involved

I am so very excited.  I have been attempting to get our little community (aprox 1800 ppl) to adopt a unit or two.  I have finally got to the right people. They ran an article in our paper ( only comes out once a week) asking for donations. One of the businesses has donated part of their building for people to take their donations.  I just got a call from one of the ladies auxillary members letting me know that I would be in charge of getting the boxes ready for mailing and they (ladies aux.) would mail.   She also informed me that we have already started getting stuff and money for postage.  This is so great. I cannot wait to get started.  Big Smile

If anyone understood my excitement I knew it would be my fellow junkies.

Congratulations, Mags!!!  You'll be able to help soooo many more service men and women now -- it's such a great feeling!  Wonderful!!!!  I was able to get something going with my community a couple months ago, and it's been great -- and it keeps on growing.  Just you wait!  I've been calling my drop-off bin my *magic box* Smile  The bin's in our local library, but I haven't been lucky enough to get a building space donated for storage and packing (yet - LOL!)  -- so you did really good there!!!!  Yes  Way to go!!!!

    Mags Congratulations!

I am so glad you have been successful in implementing interest in supporting our soldiers.

PM me and let me know if you want me to contact Anita Cochran at KSN in Wichita to see if we can get you more attention.

    Good job, well done, door
