CPT David J. Ellis - Wounded in Afghanistan

Junkies -- CPT David J. Ellis (U.S. Army/Afghanistan) -- 80/males - 6 females just posted today (4/18/08).  He is the Medical Officer at a small outpost in Afghanistan, and is asking for some items for our wounded as they wait for a medivac flight, which can be from 1 to 3 days -- YIKES!  Sounds like mostly entertainment-type items are needed (DVDs/CDs, and players; magazines, etc.) -- but also, whatever else we think they might want.

    Thanks,

I requested his address.  I have a portable DVD player with 2 headsets I will send and also a small 'boombox' that plays CDs.  My dear friend who deployed to Afghanistan 2 weeks ago made we want to help CPT Ellis and the wounded at his aid station.  God forbid, but it's possible my friend could end up there one day.

It might be a good idea to add the idea "for" before you write "wounded in Afghanistan." It makes it look he HE was wounded. I had just read his posting yesterday and it scared me!
