Thanks Kay,
the first entry was a typo...I bought 200 more, not $200 more....although with the tally I have running, it won't be too long before I hit the $200 mark total! My understanding is that there are about 400 people running around at this location, so sending 200 of them only gives half of the people just one lonely popsicle, which makes me a little sad. My hope is that other supporters are sending them, too. that's one of my frustrations and what I have to keep reminding myself when I have to limit my spending (splurging)...that Rome wasn't built in a day, and thanks to all of you, these soldiers aren't depending on me alone. It is a group effort!
On that note...I've started seeing little cups of "italian ice" that can similarly be sent over in liquid form and then frozen and eaten with a spoon. I might shake it up by sending those instead next time. Its a shame there aren't more cold things we can send their way!
