Color for Boxer briefs is not an issue, any color is greatly appreciated! You guys are wonderful - Thank you so much.

Re: CSM Jerry R. Callaghan Recovering / Wounded Warrior

Now that we managed to get Jerry in trouble, lol...I just ordered two 4-packs of boxer briefs from Amazon, one pack medium and one large. It seemed like the price was good (although I'm no expert on boxer briefs, lol!) and they are shipping straight to Jerry free. If anyone is interested you can search  on Amazon for "boxer briefs" and fruit. Smile

    I hope this helps!

    Susie :)

Re: CSM Jerry R. Callaghan Recovering / Wounded Warrior

I guess I was in too big a hurry because I went to the Hanes website and ordered directly from them.  Then....I thought to ask them if they sent directly to APO addresses.  Of course they do, but I had already placed the order for 9 of both sizes of knit boxers, so it will be longer before we can get them sent.  We can still send some of the mixture of knit boxers and boxer briefs that we have on Mon. We will send 6 of each size (med.and lge.) until we get the others.  Where do you get brain rechargers?

    Gran,

My brain is dead!  At this point, I question its future use!  Thanks for the try though.  lol  You would think I would have figured some of this out by now, but this forum is a first for me.  I'm still learning the ropes, and now being braindead, who knows what the outcome will be!

    Marilyn,

We had room left in the box with the 12 pr. of boxers/boxer briefs, so we put in a towel and 20 more mechanical pencils plus a couple of packets with 14 wood pencils, extra erasers, a sharpener, and pencil grips in each pack.  Mr. Gran is "fixin'" to go to the PO as soon as they open.

    CSM Callaghan...

I've been following the posts on the need for boxers and boxer briefs. Just wondering if there are female patients at the hospitals we are supporting.

If there are females being treated at the hospital, do they need underwear or any feminine hygiene gear, lotion, soap? And upon discharge, will they be in need of foundation garments...i.e. sports bras...? Zip it!

Thanks so much for what your doing for our wounded soldiers.

We do have female patients.  When I first got involved in this venture it was due to female service member needs. I still have an abundence of items for them.  I had five females make a list to ensure their needs would be covered and the needs of future patients.  Lord knows I would have missed the boat making a guess at their needs.  Anyway, I have not had any location report on their inventory that they are in need of anything that is female specific. The only thing I recall to be a consistant item that a few females have asked me about about I think it was girly smelly lotion, I would have to ask, it was a common brand etc... but I don't at all recall what it is. I will let you know - I have never entertained the item only because it was kind of a want and not an actual need.  I guess the need thing might be my opinion and not a fact.  I'll find out and follow up with you.
