With all the women on this forum, you don't think "girly smelly lotion" is a basic need?  To women, who are wounded the girly smelly lotion" is a definite need, especially if they are in a hospital bed.  It will boost their morale a thousand times.  Geez, I thought you knew all about women. LOL

LOL... you boys, you crack me up.

Not only do we women know that good smelling lotion is a necessity, we also know that the brand they want is Bath and Body Works.  Smile  See how we women all function on the same wavelength?  So boys, time to man up and head over to the mall, and pic up some Cherry Blossom and Cucumber Melon for our Wounded Warrior-ettes!

Re: CSM Jerry R. Callaghan Recovering / Wounded Warrior

    Kristen ~

You are soooo right!  You would think that the men would know this by now.

One of my favorite scents (Ylang Ylang Myrrh) from BBW was discontinued <my heart stopped > and I ran furiously to search on EBay for any bit of it I could snatch up.   I bought about 30 bottles of the lotion.  Even now, the scent is fresh.  The shampoo, conditioner, candles, etc. are all good except for the soothing/massage oil.

I have about a dozen of the big lotion bottles left and I can part (no I can't Devil, yes I can Angel, no..yes...) OK, with 6 bottles.  I don't remember CSM Callaghan asking for shampoo and other types of "girly smell stuff".  Even if he does, I couldn't bare it!  We women have to have a few sacred me-things, right?! (stick with me girls!)

Re: CSM Jerry R. Callaghan Recovering / Wounded Warrior

    Hey Kaylynn,

I think the women on the forum should just decide to send these brave women, what we would want if we were in the hospital.  CSM Jerry, obviously doesn't have a clue.  Notice how he gave us all the necessities for men, with no hesitation; but for the women, he only considered "girly smelly lotion" a want, not a necessity.  Not only that he started this whole thing for the women and then forgets to mention them.Confused  But then again, Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus.  I'm sure they would like some nice things for their hair, a little lipstick, some nice undies, a pretty robe, etc., etc.

Tony I think you need Plans A through Z.  You are going to hit some rough patches in the romance departmentWilted Flower.  Yikes! ROFLMAO!!!

Re: CSM Jerry R. Callaghan Recovering / Wounded Warrior

Ladies -- I feel compelled to come to CSM's defense here Smile  I went back and read what he said about our female wounded:

"I still have an abundence of items for them.  I had five females make a list to ensure their needs would be covered and the needs of future patients.  Lord knows I would have missed the boat making a guess at their needs.  Anyway, I have not had any location report on their inventory that they are in need of anything that is female specific."

Note that CSM had not one but FIVE females make a list of their needs -- so I think we can in all fairness cut CSM some slack here Stick out tongue

That being said -- let the avalanche of pampering begin Big Smile
