Hi Donna,

 

Just got and e amail from David.  He said that they are very busy in on of the hottest spots in the country for bad guys.  They are shooting tone of artillary and lots fo air suppot every week.  I told him that he was really earning his pay!  I really just hope and pray that they are all Ok and get home safe and souund

 I passed Garrett's name to him and asked if he know him.

I  would like to thank all the lovely people who have spent so much time guiding the new fledglings thru this. Being a canadian really removes me from a lot of information since our news doesn't cover much unless a canadian soldier or troop run amuck....I've started my little care package and was wondering if there are anythings that are a must to include. Hello from Virginia!  My name is Kathy and I have been married to Carter for 34 years.  We live in the Appalachian Mountains (God's country) and we are the proud in-laws of DJ who is currently serving in Afghanistan.  We are also proud of our daughter who has been in the military life with DJ for 10 years.  She is a strong woman and mother.  I came upon this site while searching for information about Korengal Outpost.  The more is visit around the site the more I am pleased that there are people who are actively supporting our troops.  thank you to all of you.

I was shopping for a pillow to send to Afghanistan and stopped in a store last Thursday to buy one.

When the manager found out what I was doing I ended up with a extra free pillow which I am also shipping.

Be sure to tell others by cards you can order or print out the hand out flyers. Welcome.
