Hi everyone,

I live in Tennessee.. My father and uncle were drafted in vietnam, my father in law (rip) fought in WWII, My husband and cousin served in the army and my bff's husband is shipping off for training in the national gaurds.. So this is very close to my heart.. I think this is wonderful and I can not wait to start sending things to the brave soilders.

I am a stay at home wife due to the fact that I have Crohn's disease and I am not able to work. I do try and help out with the local humane society. And I was sitting at home sick yesterday and decided that I needed to do more. Every year we always buy alot of toys and donate them to different organizations for christmas. We also try and take things to the nursing home throughout the year. When I was able to work I was a system analyst - and i so loved it.

Hi, I'm the lead for a group of 5 teachers who got together, deciding we wanted to help. We all work in the same department (Languages) at our school and range in age from 30-45. We're working on our boxes right now, and hope to have them ready by the end of next week (that's our goal, anyway). Glad to "meet" you all! -RL

 Thank you for what all you teachers are doing. I also am a teacher or a Teacher asst. and we have been getting all kinds of styff together to send for Halloween. I love when I see teachers get together and show these kind acts of service. Hope to get to know you all through  this great AS forum.

I am not a teacher to anyone other than my own kids but have recently found out how great our homeschool group is that we joined this year. I haven't even had a chance to meet them in person yet and when I sent  a message talking about sending letters and packages to our troops the leader jumped in to let me know that we could have a day once a month where we all bring a certain item for the soldiers and write them letters. So now I will have so much more to send thanks to these people. Next month is exciting because our item is DVD's. I can't wait! It is amazing at the people willing to help out though!

Don't thank me I just do what little I can and was lucky enough to have such a great homeschool group! Besides that I think the kids and I get more out of it than anybody. I am sure you know how it is.lol. Love doing it!

I'm Bette - a 73 year old grandmother from Denison, Texas.  I've been an AnySoldier supporter for the past 3 years and have found it to be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. 

I just found this forum quite by accident and quite honestly, I'm not sure how to post a message.  This is all very new to me so any help along the way would be absolutely wonderful.   I'm sure I'll probably make mistakes - but after reading many of the posts, I know how helpful you all are so I'm counting on you to give me some guidance. 

One question is ......... are their any supporters of SSG Christopher Little on this forum?  It so, would you please contact me.
