Hello y'all,

since some folks are duplicated here and on the Birthday Card forum, I won't detail the terrific weekend here in Baltimore. I just hope you all are enjoying some wonderful weather!

WELCOME to all the new folks since my last post.  I've been extremely busy with all my little part time jobs, a few volunteer activities, and of course the troops package project that I coordinate.  It's been fun but time consuming and tiring. LOL.

I have to boast that one of my donators came in today with a case and a half of tampons! WOOOOO HOOOO!!! Will my female contacts LOVE their packages this month.  I just packed 5 dozen tampons to one contact at one of the Combat Support Hospitals (CSH) on my list.  I'm sure those ladies will be thrilled when they open the sports pages in THAT box!

I do know that coordinating this project has been one of the best things I've ever done.  I'm also bragging this week that we have now mailed over 170 packages. GO BALTIMORE!!!

Hope you all are getting the same type of support that I have here in the east side of Baltimore County Maryland!

Hi all!

My name is Ashlee and I am from the beautiful state of Colorado!  I grew up as a military brat with my father being in the US Air Force for 20 years.  We lived all over the country (7 different states and Germany) before I settled here in Colorado Springs.  Moving around like that forced me to become a really outgoing, motivated person and for that I am so grateful!  I originally moved here for college and after I graduated, decided to stay here.  I work as a corporate event planner for a 5 star resort, which I really love doing.  It keeps me really busy but that helps to keep me out of trouble.   Other than that, I'm a pretty laid back person.  I love to spend time with my family and take my 4 1/2 year old black lab to the park! 

Looking forward to getting to know ya'll.  Don't be shy - feel free to say hi!

I love it here!  It's gorgeous and there's so much to do.  I live in Colorado Springs about an hour or so away from Glenwood Springs.

 There are a few of us in a chat room right now btw - the Afganistan room I think - if you want to join!

My bad I was in the AnyMarine area and of course there was no one in there.
