Hello to all! I have been an anysoldier supporter for about a year but this is the first time that I have been involved in the forum. I am a busy mother of two daughters, 17 & 12. I also work with my husband as his office manager, supervising a staff of 10 and the everyday operations of his law office. Our anysoldier involvement started as a way to have my daughters involved in a worthy cause. Now, one year later, we are very much addicted!!! Our first soldiers have returned home safely and we are supporting more. My very first contact was an Air Force Captain from our home state of Louisiana. We sported he and his team for about a year. On July 8th, he and his lovely new bride arrived at our home for a visit. They spent about 6 hours with us. It was wonderful! I told someone, I feel like I am expanding my family, one soldier at a time. One of the things that I do to get the word out about anysoldier, is to have photos of my soldiers sitting around in my office. Many times, I am asked, "what's with the military guys?" It provides good conversation AND gets the word out. My office staff are always coming in to see what is the latest on my guys.
A big thank you goes to Marty and his family for keeping this organization going.
