The local Family Dollar store has half a dozen bins of clearance items.  Lots of junk and lots of unmarked items.  But there were a few good deals - socks, underwear, post its, note cards - some as little as $.30.   

Thanks for the tip.  I have one of these stores just 3 miles away, and close to the Post Office.  I can stop and pick-up some more hygiene supplies and snacks after mailing this week's packages.
