    solar lights

I send solar lighting (use in gardens) to my contacts.  Many, at best, have inconsisent energy resourses.  They will not light up an entire living area, but in an emergency will allow soldiers to negotiate around thier quarters. They have also found other uses for them.  The one thing they have plenty of there is sunshine.

Do you mean they put the solar lights outside during the day to charge, then bring them in at night? I hadn't considered that. I've been sending the small battery-operated stick-up lights but they have to be touched to turn on.

They don't have to set them outside, they will also recharge with light from lightbulb.  But I know they put them outside for a quick charge.  The batteries just get expensive to send.
