    amazon.com??

I've been a longtime, if slightly lapsed, anysoldier.com junkie, but I do remember being able to enter the amazon.com website through a portal here on AS, so that AS would receive a portion of my total purchase.  I've looked, but I can't find that portal anymore.  Does anyone know if that particular fundraising option exists anymore?  Is it gone, or did I just overlook it?

     Thanks!!

    -Mitra

Hey, Mitra!  The Amazon link is still active.  On the Where to Send page just below the lost contacts box there is a message from Marty about donations.  It says for other ways to help, click HERE.  That takes you to the page with the Amazon link.

I have used this site too.  My question is how do I know for sure that AS got the donation?  Is there supposed to be something on the site or a statement on my billing page that lets me know?

You need to enter Amazon from the link on this site. Look at the URL; the affiliate's name is there in some form.

    Go here:

    http://www.anysoldier.com/WhereToSend/

And look for this, halfway down the page:

Can't afford a donation? No problem, other ways you can help are HERE.

Once you click on the 'here' link, the amazon.com link is there.  Thanks to Janet for reminding me where it is  :-)

You are quite welcome, meechie!  I had to think a bit to remember where it was myself...!  I don't order from them often, but when I do I use this link.  Every little bit helps!

Amazon Rocks!!!!  But wouldn't it be great if they had an 'Amount Raised' button to click like they do over at GoodSearch?!

Also, if You click on SALES & DONATIONS there is a bar marked OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP (it is between WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? and BUY OUR COOL STUFF! bars.)  When You click on that bar and go down about four groups You will see the AMAZON.com logo and the link that takes You there.  I use it as much as possible.  I agree, it would be nice if now and then Marty would let us know if he gets any feedback from them.

By the way, Amazon.com offers "Prime" as well.  Below are the details.  If you use Amazon.com a lot (like I do) it makes it very nice.  You can find out more by clicking HERE.  If the link does not work for you, simply to go www.amazon.com click on Help on the upper right, and you should see a link on the left marked  Amazon Prime.  Below are the details.  Please note:  The free 2-day shipping, and discount overnight shipping applies ONLY to those items sold by Amazon.com.  As you probably know, lots of different companies and individuals sell on Amazon.com.  If you use the link for AS to go there first, you can still get the Prime shipping rates, and I assume (and hope) that AS still receives credit.
