Just wanted to share this e-mail from a new contact:
Last week I sent a package to a new Marine group living out of a tent. I received an "Thank You" e-mail on Sunday am.
I replied and asked if there was anything else that they needed as their application posting was so vague and this is what he said.:
The simple fact is, it's not about what we want - - it's not about how much is sent.
it's about the love care that someone puts into a package.
The thoughts and prayers are what give hope and support to us troops.
It's just so wonderful to have a family from the states show their love , care and concern for someone they don't even know
but are still willing to help. You offer us hope that there are still people who support our cause in the effort to protect our country's freedom. Just the little snacks that are so hard to come by, make the biggest impression.
Many, many thanks, from us back to you.
