Thanks for pointing him out, Glen!  I've requested his address and am on it!  What a service these men and women are providing to their brothers and sisters who need help.  Seems to me like there's not a speck of difference between them and medics for the physically wounded, right?  I mean, the more immediate the treatment, the better for our kids.

    Hugs,

I'm curious - I just read his email - do you have some special knowledge that helps you read between the lines here? If he truly is treating more combat trauma than other units, I will write to him and perhaps I can offer some support. I am the assistant director of an all- volunteer group of mental health professionals, www.thesoldiersproject.org, that offers free counseling to any OIF/OEF service member, vet or loved one. I have just written a booklet on helping the family prepare for the Soldier's R & R.....

One of the reasons I also adopt Soldiers is that ptsd has many aspects to it and it is so important for Soldiers to feel that somebody back home cares. I did not know when I started that I would meet lifetime friends and outstanding individuals.

Yeah, who knows, it could be on Mars for all we know. LOL

Seriously, I hope they get it soon.  I will write more cards later today and tomorrow for all the others with him.
