I am adding a new post - I hope this info has not already been included elsewhere.  The May Free with a rebate specials at Walgreens include several items that you might want to take advantage of:  maxi pads, Energy spray,toothbrush, cold sore treatment, among others.  There are also rebates on other items - my time to check them out was very limited.

If you are unfamiliar with the rebate system - you pay the full price and sales tax - then fill out the form in the rebate booklet (available in the store).  You can get 10% more by taking the rebate on a gift card.  That gift card can be "reloaded" with future rebates. 

Thanks! I shop at Walgreens a lot and have never done the rebates. I assumed it was the standard "mail it off and wait forever for the tiny check." I'd much rather have the rebate on a gift cad anyway.
