    Family Dollar has CHEAP dvd's

Several items at our local Family Dollar Store were marked down.  I grabbed several of the $.60 dvd's - not sure if they are any good, but the price was right.  Some old comedies, cartoons, one with Bill Cosby.  I just read one soldier's report about viewing the same movie over and over so at least this should provide some diversion.

I haven't seen DVDs at the Family Dollar stores in my area. Perhaps I'll ask where they are located - thanks for the tip.

They do sell crossword puzzle books, word searchs, and playing cards for $1 each, which I have been loading up on.  I'm buying so many decks of cards they must think I'm running a gambling ring or something...

Just a warning on the cheap crossword/puzzle books...make sure they have the answers in the back.  I did get one (can't remember where) with no solutions in it, talk about annoying.

Along the line of playing cards, does anyone send dice?  Are there any good dice games that can be printed and mailed?  We play "Farkle" but I didn't know if anyone else does.

    Hello Anna S ~

Yahtzee. It's a dice game (5) and all you need to do is send it with copies of the tally sheet and maybe some pencils.

P.S.  I forgot to answer your last message.  YES, I do have the contact with the soldier from my hometown.  That is so cool!
