    Postage from Afghanistan

What is the postage needed for a letter sent from Afghanistan? I would like to send my soldier stationery with the required postage already on the envelopes. I sent some once, without postage, but don't know if they ever used it.  I've never received a letter from any of the soldiers, but as mentioned in an earlier post, do communicate by email with my soldier. They are about to come home- in a couple of months, but my soldier will be doing a second tour and would like to keep in touch...

If you send stationery do you usually include the postage?

     Thanks.

I might be wrong, but I believe that postage is free for the soldiers. At least for mine, whose in Kuwait.
