No, I am not kidding. And, you need not be rude, especially as we are all trying to help. As a matter of fact, I found the address for the orphanage through this forum and shipped to it. It's been posted several times. I just wanted to know if the address was the same so I didn't have to dig back a million pages. I have a box ready to go, but hadn't sent it because there had not been any updates. I've been shipping boxes to Iraq and Afghanistan for six years now, through personal contacts, soldiers on this site and another soldier support site. I am well aware that when soldiers don't post for awhile it's best not to send. A polite suggestion to search contacts for Jason Webb would have been nicer.

I'm pretty sure that Anysoldier does not permit posting of addresses here in the forum, but I guess I could be wrong.  Marty is quite strict about OPSEC and the rules by which the site must operate.  It's not rude, it's the rules and those with experience should be well versed in them, I would think.     If the orphanage address was here at one time, I do not think it is posted here any longer.  What a soldier posts on some other blog or website that is not under the control of Anysoldier is an entirely different thing....

As I remember it, when the orphanage resurfaced, there was a link in a forum post that lead to the blog of the Herat Girls Orphanage. On that website there was an address. I don't think any address was ever directly posted in the forum, just the link. It wasn't an Any Soldier address on the blog.
