WalMart has their basic twin sheets at everyday price of $3.50 each top and bottom and $2.50 set of two pillow cases.  This appears to be all the time.  Best price I've seen (not in a clearance bin) was a Target sale a month or so ago for $6.78 for a complete twin set.  Maybe they'll do it again...
