LOL isnt that every young man's fave veggie! I'll be thinking of Rick next time I bite into a slice... :)

Bob - you know we're all going to keep supporting all our folks deployed in harm's way. We can hold Rick in our hearts as we do what we're already committed to, but some might want to give of their resources in addition to their normal junkie supporting efforts. A donation to AnySoldier (or to any group that sends care packages directly) sounds like it would meet what you're asking for --- continued support of his brothers in arms.

Thank you Bob for your generosity. I know the guys would appreciate the support in Rick's name.  Andrew spoke very highly of Rick.  They are the band of brothers.  When one falls, they all fall.  They are standing strong for Rick.  He is a true HERO.  Thank you Bob.  We love you and will always be here for you.   If you need anything, please just reach out.  We are here and on Facebook.  You have a lot of support and God will be with you everystep of the way.

    In Him,

    Dianna

OMG!!  That is just the funniest thing I've heard all week!!!  You are too much, Bob.  No wonder we all love you so much.  That's exactly the kind of humor you have always given us.  A pizza veggie, eh?  Well, ok...so one of the main ingredients for a yummy Rick pizza would be....drum roll please....TOMATOES!!!  And there we have it.  I shall grow special Rick tomatoes to be used to make the sauce that will go on a homemade pizza.  And guess what?  I actually have a young man that lives with our family who is from Palermo, Sicily, so it will be a Sicilian pizza!!  I bet you thought you tripped me up, huh?  Hmmm...not so much!!!! ROFLMAO!!!  We even have a huge block of parmesan cheese the Nino brought back with him after his visit home for Christmas.  I think Rick will be most pleased with his Pizza Plant!!

     Thanks Bob...you made my day!!

    Big Hugs!

Do a search for "wounded warrior"  "wounded warriors" and almost any combination and you will get a big selection of funds to support.   What was the one that Trace Adkins and the West Point folks just highlighted?

Am I hearing this right?  You are looking for a charity?  Using this web site, and it's features, you are looking for a charity?

I could not think of a more appropriate charity!   (This is what I was hinting at when I posted the question earlier.)  It is through this site that we were able to help Rick and his brothers.  It is through this site that we will be able to continue to help them in the manner that Rick would want.

    Bob ~

A memorial donation to AnySoldier was made in honor of your son, PFC Rick Dewater.  He was your beloved son, and he is our hero...

All of my love and appreciation for your son and the ultiimate sacrifice he has made for the United States of America,

    Kaylynn

(A memorial card will be sent to you in the future, if you feel like (privately) sharing your address.)

Bob, it's good to see you online. You know your AS family loves you, and are mourning with you. I'm making a donation to AnySoldier in Rick's honor; it's not a large enough donation to merit the "official treatment" of a notification card from Marty, so this is your "official notification" of a memorial donation in your son's honor. And of course I will continue supporting his brothers in arms via this site. Love and hugs to you, my friend.

Re: Kansas honors our fallen hero

Thank you, Marty, for pointing out the obvious.  No disrespect intended.  I won't speak for others, only myself, but can't I make a donation to AS as well as make mention of others in ADDITION to AS?  Or do you prefer that others are not posted here at all?  Clarification would be appreciated so as not to offend you, this amazing site, or anyone else.

     Thanks!

    Big Hugs!
