    RE: When Sheep attack

We were searching this compound in Afghanistan when I hear the child like scream and low and behold my "terp" I will call him "speedy" he is more like a turtle though.is being attacked by a sheep, the folks here live with their livestock and it was just funny that he was attacked (not really) but that is what it looked like. What had actually happened was both my Terp and the sheep had scared the heck out of each other and instead of running away it looked as if the sheep was attacking him because it ran him over. I laughed so hard I had tears comming out of my eyes and if there is one thing we need over here is a great sense of humor. I guess this may be one of those ya had to be there storys, but I still laugh at it alot.

I did not have to be there to enjoy this story. I can picture it and get a chuckle. Thanks for telling it.

I am not sure what a Terp is, but I have a great visual of this incident.  Funny story!

Ok, if I'd been there and laughed any more than I laughed here in Nashville, Tennessee, we would have been in trouble. That is so funny!!!

I'd guess interpreter, and the story made me smile.  I wondered who was more scared the sheep or the terp.

    Re: RE: When Sheep attack

Sitting here at my laptop, I'm picturing the story -  as a city person, I can imagine being overrun by a farm animal in complete panic --- me not the animal, in the panic.  Funny story --  who'd be more surprised, the guy or the sheep?  Not that scattering livestock panic me(much!!!).
