    Please say a prayer

One of our local young men has become one of the fatalities in the Iraq war.  We live in such a small community that everyone knows everyone, so when something like this happens it effects the whole town.  He was a young man being raised by a single mom. They were all each other had.  There wasnt any money for college, so he decided that would be his best chance.  He had graduated this last school year and joined the Army.  And from my understanding he had not been in the country very long.   I feel his mother and friends (he left many) need all the prayers they can get. If anyone understood I knew you all would.

    Thanks for listenting.

Oh, Mags -- I am so, so sorry -- my heart aches -- my prayers and love to his mother and his friends and you.

Oh, wow, that is so sad for all of you. Prayers for you all, and especially for his Mom, I know she is crushed.....I stood on the side of the road for a Military procession here in my town and I hope it helped the family as they went by when they saw miles and miles of people with flags and signs standing for their loved one. Something I will definitely do from now on when a Warrior is lost from here. Nothing to say except "sorry", wish there was something to do to help.

Oh my, I am praying! My community just went through the same....so I know some things to pray for. Each time I see a DoD report with another name, I always wonder how many people's lives are affected by each one...

My heartfelt prayers go out to his mother, you and your community.  Blessings for his mother.  I pray that she will be able to endure the loss.

Oh, Mags!  I am keeping his mother's heart in my heart and prayers.  Such a loss!  There probably is no consolation, but at least if she knows that others appreciate and value their sacrifice it may be some small comfort.

    Hi Mags,

Living in a very small town, I can relate. But one thing I've seen first-hand, after being involved with the PGR: when a military member from one of the small towns around here is lost, the community coming out and showing their support and respect means a whole lot to the family and friends of the Fallen Hero.

Prayers from Minnesota for his mother and all who will miss him.
